O projecto Atlas Secreto é composto por um grupo de artistas que predominantemente trabalha a pintura tendo como referente a imagem fotográfica. Num trabalho conjunto de partilha e em permanente construção, o grupo tem vindo a criar um arquivo de imagens, um atlas de imagens - o Atlas Secreto. Inicialmente apenas partilhado entre os próprios artistas, através de uma plataforma de rede social, o grupo vai inserindo imagens que utiliza como matéria para as suas explorações pictóricas. Juntamente com os trabalhos de pintura, estas imagens são depois tornadas públicas durante o decorrer das exposições, sendo apresentadas em formato de livro. O Atlas Secreto, apostando na itinerância como um acto de partilha e cruzamento mais alargado, tem vindo a apresentar as suas propostas em diferentes espaços do país desde Junho de 2014.

The Atlas Secreto (Secret Atlas) project is composed by a group of artists who works predominantly in painting having the photographic image as reference. In a shared cooperation work in permanent construction, the group has been creating an image archive, an atlas of pictures – the Atlas Secreto. Shared initially only between the artists themselves, through a social networking platform, the group load images and uses them as base for their pictorial explorations. Alongside with the painting works, these images are then made public during the course of the exhibitions, presented as a book. The Secret Atlas commits itinerancy as an act of sharing and wider intersection and has been present its proposals in different spaces through Portugal since June 2014.
